    Company

    A fine piece of Hunsrück.

It’s been a good 70 years since my grandfather, Josef Lubig, founded Josef Lubig GmbH in Bad Godesberg in 1949. A lot has happened since then. It all started with the manufacture of high precision weights for the letter and package scales of the Deutsche Post. The company on the premises at Deutschherrenstrasse 181-187 in Bonn grew rapidly. Josef Lubig specialized in turned parts in various industries, such as mining, hydraulics, and valve production for both the automotive industry and the defense sector. Then as now, our customers value the

incredible precision of Lubig turned parts. That’s how another plant came about in 1973 in Deuselbach, in the Hunsrück region of Germany, which increasingly evolved into the main production site. In addition, the Bonn plant had to be closed in 1999 due to its location close to the city. After additional production in Silberhütte in the meantime, we are now concentrating our strengths in Deuselbach with full synergy. We’re currently expanding the plant in Hunsrück into our sole location, with what are now 100 employees. Since year one, our customers have been able to trust in the accuracy and precision of the overall process

with which we, in part, manufacture our small but always fine workpieces. Our precision turned parts made of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and even magnesium are indispensable components for many of our customers in their industry. In the field of safety especially, there’s no pulling the wool over our eyes. It’s something every one of our employees can claim with pride

Lubig – a fine piece of safety.

    Sincerely yours,
    Dr. Sebastian Lubig

Precision turned parts in the third generation.
